USAID investments in global health provide a specific set of opportunities for developing targeted, context relevant analyses of the vulnerability of health outcomes to climate variability and change. The principal objective of the work conducted at the climate and health nexus in ATLAS is to build on the scientific knowledge base that will strengthen health programming and help to identify relevant responses that can be implemented to address the risks posed by climate change.
The analytic pieces below are a start in this process, and aim to help inform USAID strategies and programs.
