The monthly Adaptation Community Meeting provides an opportunity for climate change adaptation practitioners to discuss approaches, reflect on challenges and opportunities for both academic inquiry and direct implementation, and exchange experiences related to their adaptation work. Meetings take place the third Thursday of each month in Washington, DC and are accessible to remote participants.

Organizers consider proposals for upcoming presentations on a rolling basis. If you would like to be considered to present at a future meeting, please send a 75-150 word abstract of your proposed presentation and a short bio to hkeuck@chemonics.com. Please specify any preferred months; organizers will attempt to accommodate your requests. No funding is available to support travel for speakers.

Presentations typically include a 20-30 minute presentation followed by discussion and Q&A from the audience. However, there is no set format, so if you would like to use an alternative presentation structure that encourages group participation and discussion, please feel free to propose one. Recordings of past Adaptation Community Meetings are available here.
