Power Africa has mobilized significant investments in renewable technologies, helping to diversify energy portfolios and accelerate Africa’s transition toward thriving, low-carbon economies. From wind parks in Kenya, to solar arrays in Rwanda, and geothermal generation in Ethiopia, Power Africa is putting Africa’s vast renewable resources to work – and along the way helping to engage women, who play key decision making roles in the household but are often sidelined from the energy industry.
