The EC-LEDS program supports development impact assessment (DIA) activities and tools, providing key resources to facilitate DIA processes and analysis globally. DIA supports the evaluation and communication of links between low-emission development actions and a country's social, economic, and environmental development goals, such as improved public health, job creation and energy access.  Robust development impact assessment processes inform decision-making and catalyze implementation of low emission development strategies (LEDS) and Nationally Determined Contributions.

I-JEDI Model

The International Jobs and Economic Development Impacts (I-JEDI) model estimates gross economic impacts from wind, solar, biomass, and geothermal energy projects. The model's outputs can feed into a broader DIA framework and provide valuable information for specific LEDS actions, supporting prioritization and informed decision-making.
