Asia-Pacific Climate Week 2019
Asia-Pacific Climate Week (APCW) 2019 is designed to advance regional climate action. It aims to support implementation of Asia-Pacific countries’ Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) under the Paris Agreement on climate change and action to deliver on the SDGs. APCW is envisioned as a stepping stone to the 2019 Climate Action Summit.
The first two days of the Week include a series of closed sessions such as the NDC Dialogue, the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) Regional Forum for Asia, a training workshop on accreditation to the Adaptation Fund and a Marrakech Partnership meeting. Open sessions include the 14th Policy Consultation Forum of the Seoul Initiative Network on Green Growth themed, ‘Enhancing and Implementing NDCs with Ambition and Transparency,’ as well as events on carbon pricing, resilience and adaptation planning.
