About this Event

In preparation for the UN Climate Action Summit in New York, CCAFS is participating in 'Building a resilient future', a UN Climate Week event that sets out ambitious and transformative actions needed to build resilience.

The Global Resilience Partnership is hosting the 'Building a resilient future' day. During this day, CCAFS will co-host a session on one of the 7 key themes of the day: 'Building resilient food and agriculture systems'.

This session will focus on highlighting concrete and scalable actions across and within agriculture and food related sectors, including the whole value chain from production to consumption, that will help to make these systems more resilient in the face of climate change. The session will also include announcements of new initiatives and partnerships, and synthesize the critical and priority actions needed to build a resilient food system for an uncertain future.
