Development and Climate Days (D&C Days) is an annual event for people attending the Conference of the Parties (COP23) to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The gathering brings together practitioners, negotiators, scientists and policymakers to explore key issues, share best practice, disseminate news, literature and reports, and promote links between development and climate. The theme of this year’s event is resilience.

This year's D&C days will aim to influence the 'ambition mechanism' processes under the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) – particularly the facilitative dialogue and global stocktake – and to inform climate action on all levels.

Attendance is free and open to everyone attending COP23 in Bonn.

This year's event is organised by a partnership between the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre, IIED, the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), the Global Facility for Disaster Reduction and Recovery (GFDRR), the Mary Robinson Foundation – Climate Justice (MRFCJ), We Mean Business (WMB), and the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE).

Contributing partners to this year's event are Action on Climate Today (ACT), the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO), the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and the Women's Environment and Development Organization (WEDO).
