Join us on September 5 for “Insurance as a Tool for Mitigating Climate Risk.” This webinar will include an overview of USAID’s work in climate insurance and a discussion on how insurance can be used as a tool for climate risk mitigation. Then, there will be a presentation from Africa Risk Capacity and Blue Marble Microinsurance on their approaches to insurance–ranging from risk pooling at the sovereign level to parametric microinsurance for agriculture. The session will end with a short Q&A.
