The ocean is vital to global ecosystems, major industries, food security, and human health. Meanwhile, ocean plastic pollution has reached a crisis level. An estimated eight million metric tons of plastics flow into the ocean annually – equivalent to an entire garbage truck of plastics entering the ocean every minute.

Please join USAID and Ocean Conservancy for a virtual program highlighting the importance of cities and local solutions to address the global challenge of ocean plastic pollution.
