The CSIS Energy Security and Climate Change Program is excited to present its forthcoming report, Race to the Top: A New International U.S. Energy Policy.  The report contains the findings and conclusions from the Energy Spheres of Influence project.

Race to the Top surveys the changing energy and geopolitical landscape in which the United States must formulate its energy policy.  The report makes recommendations for a new U.S. international energy strategy based on two pillars: reinvesting in domestic energy competitiveness and encouraging an international “race to the top.”

CSIS Energy is pleased to launch this report with Meghan O’Sullivan (Harvard Kennedy School) and Amos Hochstein (former U.S. Special Envoy for International Energy) who will discuss the report and its findings, assessing the prospects for a new international energy strategy for the United States. They will be joined in a conversation with the report’s co-authors, Sarah Ladislaw and Nikos Tsafos.
