The Project on U.S. Leadership in Development is hosting its sixth annual Global Development Forum (GDF) at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) on April 16, 2020. This half-day conference explores how the United States can work with the private sector, civil society, allies, and multilateral institutions to tackle complex global challenges. This year's GDF is focused on development in the age of strategic competition.

Over the past five years, the GDF has become the premier event on international development in Washington, D.C. The 2019 GDF featured remarks from former U.K. Prime Minister Tony Blair, USAID Administrator Mark Green, and former U.S. Trade Representative Mike Froman and examined future directions for development in terms of youth entrepreneurship, urbanization in Africa, sustainable water infrastructure, and the intersection of technology and human rights.

Registration will go live Monday, March 2, 2020.
