Join us for a discussion of how the United States, the world’s largest bilateral donor, is improving its overseas development support to ensure it is climate-resilient. This panel brings together officials from USAID, U.S. Treasury, the Millennium Challenge Corporation and others to discuss how and why the U.S. Government is assessing climate risks in development investments. Tune in to hear us discuss the challenges, progress and lessons learned so far – as well as our outlook for 2016.
Location: The U.S. Center (inside blue zone)
Attendees must hold UN badges to enter the “blue zone” conference area where the U.S. Center is located. The U.S. government cannot provide guests with credentials.
