Encouraging the expansion of solar photovoltaics (PV) systems supports the changes needed to combat climate change worldwide. RC Cola’s bottling factory in Gijilan, Kosovo, installed a 720kW solar PV system. This is a direct result of the private sector partnership and market linkages made possible through the USAID Kosovo Energy Security of Supply’s (KESS) solar rooftop feasibility assessment. USAID KESS has created opportunities for corporations, businesses, and individuals throughout Kosovo to take advantage of solar power where it is most impactful.
