AFOLU Carbon Calculator Overview

The Agriculture, Forestry, and Other Land Use (AFOLU) Carbon Calculator (www.afolucarbon.org) estimates the GHG impacts of a wide range of land use activities.  Although it requires minimal user inputs, it produces spatially explicit, scientifically sound estimates using transparent methods and data sources.

USAID staff and project implementers may use the AFOLU Carbon Calculator to estimate the GHG impacts of their land use activities and report results directly to USAID through the AFOLU Carbon Calculator’s reporting feature.
