This Climate Change Vulnerability and Adaptation Assessment of Ghana was prepared by a team of U.S. Forest Service scientists and Ghanaian counterparts. The team collected geospatial and demographic data from agencies and electronic public sources and conducted an extensive literature review.
The Assessment is focused on a national overview and a targeted assessment of the northern savanna zones. Additionally, the team examined the coastal zone and the energy sector in light of recent development of oil and gas resources offshore in the Gulf of Guinea.
