Green Growth: Energy Efficiency Promotion in the Vietnam Building Sector

The five year Vietnam Clean Energy Program gained significant achievements in promoting energy efficiency in Vietnam’s building sector. One of the program’s main accomplishments include the launch of the first Green Growth Action Plan for Vietnam’s building sector. The Program also developed a building energy use baseline and established the first comprehensive Building Energy Performance Database (BEPD) which will store and manage comprehensive building energy use data throughout Vietnam.
