Indonesia Clean Energy Handbook for Financial Service Institutions
This handbook examines clean and renewable energy programs and best practices implemented through the Indonesian Clean Energy Development (ICED) program in collaboration with USAID and Financial Service Authority (FSA).
This handbook was produced to build knowledge and understanding of clean energy power generation technologies and projects to increase bank and financial institution investment, share best practices in assessing project feasibility and associated financing risks for various clean energy project types, and improve technical assistance and capacity building to banks and financial institutions in developing clean energy projects.
Key topics of the handbook include regulation of clean energy, financing schemes for small-scale renewable energy projects, evaluating clean energy projects, and overviews of power sources including mini-hydro power, biogas power, biomass power, solar photovoltaic electricity and wind power.
ICED is designed to support the Government of Indonesia in developing sustainable renewable energy resources and reducing greenhouse gas emissions from conventional fossil fuel sources.
