Renewable Energy for Rural Liberia

USAID visits solar systems installed in rural businesses, schools, and clinics under the USAID Liberia Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) that ended in 2009. Lessons learned from their successes and failures are being applied to the current USAID Liberia Energy Sector Support Program (LESSP) that aims to foster development of Liberia's renewable energy resources through developing pilot hydro and biomass projects and building local technical capacity.
