Resilient Energy Platform
The Resilient Energy Platform supports the development of resilient, sustainable, and secure power systems with expertly curated resources, training materials, data, tools, and direct technical assistance.
Developed through the USAID-NREL Partnership, the Resilient Energy Platform provides expertly curated resources, training materials, data, tools, and direct technical assistance in planning resilient, sustainable, and secure power systems. The Resilient Energy Platform enables decision makers to assess power sector vulnerabilities, identify resilience solutions, and make informed decisions to enhance power sector resilience at all scales (including local, national, and regional scales).
Inputs and Outputs:
Users can search the Resilient Energy Platform for trainings, videos and recorded webinars, resources, factsheets, best practices, and case studies on power sector resilience topics ranging from operational flexibility, forecasting, storage and demand response, and many others. Also included is a Power Sector Resilience Planning Guidebook for use by policymakers, power sector investors, planners, system operators, and other energy-sector stakeholders as a stand-alone resource or shared with participants at stakeholder workshops to facilitate discussions and complete key steps of a power sector resilience planning process.
