Women in the Sustainable Economy Initiative 2023-2024 Annual Report

The Women in the Sustainable Economy (WISE) Initiative, a flagship effort of the U.S. government, is a public-private partnership that brings together governments, private sector companies, foundations, and civil society to bolster women’s economic empowerment globally by expanding access to employment, training, leadership roles, and financial resources in the industries critical to our future and the future of our planet.

The inaugural WISE annual report highlights the progress of partners since the launch of WISE and celebrates the addition of new partners. The report also outlines a path forward as WISE continues to shift industry actions, standards, and reporting to advance women’s economic security, promote economic growth, and address climate change.
